In India The 5th September celebrated as a teacher’s day since 1967 as a birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan, a great philosopher & citizen of India. He was well known by the first vice president and second president of India. The 5th October is celebrated as a  World Teacher’s day since 1994  which was started by UNESCO.

Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan was a great teacher of philosophy and respective citizen of our country (India). He was born on 5th September 1888. He was became first Vice president of India during the years 1952-1962. After that he was also became the second President of India in the year 1962. After doing so many works for our country at last he was died on 17th April 1975.

To my honourable chief guest, parents, all my respectable teachers and lovely classmates.

Today we have gathered here to celebrate the 48th Teacher’s day of our country. Before going forward of my speech we first discuss about why we celebrate Teacher’s day on 5th Sep every year? We think most of you would know about this. Since 1967  We celebrate birthday of a great citizen & teacher of Philosophy, Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan as a Teacher’s day, who was born on 5th September 1888 and was better known by the first vice president of India & after that the second president of our country

The teachers play very important role in our life. They provide us a huge of knowledge, learn manner and many other things for which we become a good citizen of our country. They also contribute in our character building. Teachers work like a stair for us in which we climb and go upward in our life. Without the guardians of teachers the students can’t get their goal

The teachers do their duty with very honesty and they love us as like their own son.. Parents provide us meals and other important things for survival but the teacher‘s role are more than the parents. The teachers provide many things for us such as plenty of knowledge, a confidence to achieve our goals in our own life, teach us to become ideal citizen of our country and encourage us to secure our own future and goals. They provide all the important tips & tricks for which we can face any type of obstacles in our life. We really very owe of the teachers for their such kind of work for us.

The Government also realizes the importance of teachers so every year on this day the government gives many types of awards for their excellent duties in their field. But at this present time most of the students do not understand the importance of teacher. They do not obey and respect their teacher. We must appeal to that type of students that please respect and obey your teachers because we can’t pay the owe of their works. At last we give thanks to them and says few lines in the honour of them-
